The end is nigh...

So I'm careening rapidly to the end of college now.

One more week to go and a MOUND of stuff to sort out type, print, mount and present properly. All i seem to have been doing the last 4 months is college work, or work work, or wedding photos. I'm quite looking forward to reaching July and being able to do something for me. I'm going to go back to the gym which has fallen by the wayside due to the sheer amount of work right now and that should help. I've been feeling very unhealthy recently so it'll be good to get back into a routine.

I've really enjoyed this course though, my tutor Jon aside from being a sarky bastard is a really good teacher and it's been great going out with my cameras just taking images. I've not been using my digi at all preferring to use my dads old manual Practika MTL50 which is just a lush camera to use. it's been nice using 35mm again and being able to print up the photos in the dark room. I'd forgotten how much fun that was. As part of my degree I had to do a term of photography and is was undecided whether to pursue that or graphic design for my degree. I loved being in the darkroom (cept in those days it was a full wet darkroom) so it's been really nice getting back into that. I'd love to go on and do an HNC in photography but that requires 2 nights a week plus all the time you need to actually do the photos, writing and suchlike and with a house to rennovate I don't think I can commit to that right now.

Still It's given me the passion to continue using my cameras and pushing myself :)

On that note I gotta get back to work after I've mooched some t'internet I've missed out on the last couple of weeks!
