A www.britmums.com blog prompt today is bests, I thought i'd blog my current thoughts.
It's difficult to pin point one day so far that has been the best day with my children. The 2.5 year is currently in the throes or learning to share with his now mobile and ever increasingly brave 9 month old brother. Life is fast becoming chaotic with a hint of refereeing, ok A LOT of refereeing as I try to teach one that sharing is ok and the other that he can't eat daddy's xbox cables.
But I think my best day with them up to now, was a few weeks ago, on a rainy sunday morning. I decided it was time to don wellies and waterproofs, find the bubble for the pram and go out. There are few things in the world greater to Bean that the park, and some big deep puddles. Thankfully due to government cutbacks the roads in our little terraced streets are in a shocking state which is crap for the average motorist, but great for a crazy mummy and a lil dude with wellies. So armed with an old towel to dry of the "wings" and a few snacks off we went to the park via some lovely deep puddles to jump in.
And his grin was worth the soggy pants, as were the giggles from the pram as Noodledoodle watched his brother create havoc with one particular puddle and which uttered the words "A'mummy, Eben a welly? Eben a puddle too?"
There may just be hope that one day they can actually play with the same toys then!

That sounds lovely, I'm looking forward to doing some autumn walks with my little ones and doing some puddle jumping with little man :) great fun!
(I love that the captcha code for me to post this comment is "loons" heehee)
HAHA loons is apt for sure! The first time I took Bean leaf smooshing was last year. He'd only been walking properly about 2 months but he got the hang of scuffling leaves really quickly! SO much fun. Then we collected the leaves and made pictures hehehe!
