Text message from the childminder: So E (little girl she also minds and is currently potty training) asked where I was going. I replied "I'm going to the toilet for a wee wee." As I turned round Bean brought me the potty and said "there you go mate"
If anyone had ever told me ten years ago that parenthood was more fun than I'd have in a long time I woulda smirked at them as I couldn't imagine it was anything more than sleepless nights and inconvenience. But now I realise that seeing the world through my sons eyes is just, well, an eye opener. I love how he changes everyday and the things he's coming out with as he learns language is hysterical.
Altho I won't quite get used to him greeting me with "hiyah mate" when I go and get him up in the morning!
He's not potty training yet, preferring to wear it as headgear or use it for storing "iggle iggle" and the "ink onk" in, but I am at least glad he knows what it's for finally!

Fingers crossed he stops using it for headgear before he realises he can use it, that could be a rather messy affair!
hahahaha I will keep him chained in the yard if he does that!
